Went around NUS Kent Ridge campus and Bukit Timah Campus with PJ and SK yesterday to take photos as memento...here are some of the photos~

PJ and I will be graduated at this coming 10 July...Great to have PJ as my coursemate for this 3 years study in Statistics...having lectures and tutorials together, discuss the past year questions and tutorial questions, doing projects...still remember that we stayed overnight at TV room for ST2137 project with Ivy, cracked our brain for the way to present the result for ST3131 project with Chyi and the most recent one, prepared the slides for ST3232 presentation at computer lab...a lot of memories bring back~~
We had quite some similarities in our thinking and interests...Hehe, PJ is a nice friend to have!!

Celebrated it with my family this early early morning..feel so blessed to have parents who doted me very much and a brother who is so considerate and whom I can confide on...

Met with Serene and BH yesterday afternoon for lunch. Then went to Woodlands library for a walk with Serene...lol~~ Thanks Serene for helping me to borrow a magazine regarding Photoshop...hopefully can learn something from it~ =)

Sent out a few job applications this afternoon...waiting for news~~~~

Took 10.30pm bus from JB Larkin bus station to Sri Maju Ipoh headquarter. It’s a long bus journey.

Reach Ipoh at around 5.30am. It’s still early, so we back to YF’s house to rest. Slept until around 12pm. (o.O so 厉害 sleep….waha~) YF brought us to Old Town and we met YS there for lunch. Drank the Old Town white coffee and the snacks sold at the shop was nice. The egg tarts were crispy. After that, our Ipoh trip began…

We went around in YF’s car. The buildings along the road had a unique style and some of them were still preserved to be in old British style. We seldom saw this kind of building style recently. We stopped at the Railway station. It gave me a British colonial feel because of its building appearance. We took quite a number of photos there. Later on, YF brought us to see the Menglembu landmark – the peanuts statue. Then we head back to YF’s house.

Back to YF’s house, we played games. YF had a wide collection of games!! We played Monopoly and a sort-of driving game(not remember the name =P). Haha, I nearly bankrupt in Monopoly le…YF’s mum prepared some noodles for us, so we ate while we were playing Monopoly. Then we changed to the ‘driving’ game. It’s played using cards. You will need a green light to start playing. Then you may be stopped by other players anytime. There are some hazard cards such as “flat tyre”, “accident”, “out of gas”, “speed limit” and of course there will be some remedy cards for them. Due to tiredness, I didn’t join in the ‘driving’ game.

We went to pasar malam after playing the ‘driving’ game and had ‘lok lok’ as our dinner. It’s been a long time since I last ate ‘lok lok’. Haha, enjoyed the feeling dipping the ‘lok lok’ sticks into the boiled water and ate it by the street. =P We walked along the road and keep on ‘searching’…Suddenly something caught our attention. “炒冰” Have you heard it before? We were wonder how it is done. Out of curiosity, we went to the stall and bought one and 顺便 see the making process. Bought some bread as our breakfast for the next day and we went back to YF’s house.

The night was still early, so we played games again. Played the 陆战棋 with YS and Rummy-O with BY while YF and ZJ were playing chess. Never noticed the time, we played until around 4.30am (@.@) Went to bed and sleep for a few hours and will have to wake up, prepare to ‘climb’ the Kledang hill..

Woke up early early in the morning, prepared to ‘climb’ the Kledang hill. The morning air is so refreshing, should have more morning walk (been telling myself to wake up early but everytime will lose to 周公 and continue to sleep..hehe). We walked up the slope and enjoying the view from the hill. Wah..the view is nice when you looked down from high above. Been to the waterfall and had our breakfast there. Tried to shoot the waterfall but couldn’t get the feel I want. Hmm..should practice more..haha~

Back to YF’s house again and caught some sleep before we off to have our lunch and meet LY. YF brought us to “大树脚” to eat laksa. There’s a huge variety of the ingredients and they were nice. LY is so sweet, specially bought us Chee Cheong Fun, but too bad she can’t join us for the trip. Had a full and contented meal. Again, we went around in YF’s car. YF and YS introduced us about the buildings that we passed by. Then we went to 茶坊. It is a place similar to Settler’s café or Mind’s café in Sg. The difference is the 茶坊 is in Chinese style (we drank Chinese tea) and the variety of games is much lesser than that in Settler’s or Mind’s café. However the most important is the ambience and the time shared together with friends.

After that, we went to YS’s house and we were going to spend the night there. Rest for a while and off we went to have our dinner at Wholley food centre. Got a surprise from ZJ, BY and YF. They bought cakes for YS and I from Secret Recipe! An early birthday celebration for us~~ Thanks BY, YF and ZJ!!

Head back to YS’s house after dinner. Played the ‘driving’ game and ‘blockers’. First time playing blockers and learnt a few tactics while playing. To ‘conserve’ energy for the next day trip, we slept quite early at around 1.30am.

Josephine’s birthday – Happy birthday, 朱妹~

Went to have Dim Sum as our breakfast. They were tasty and nice. I had a bowl of sesame paste and BY said it’s good for black hair (hmm…I shall have more then, lol~)

Today’s trip began with the visit to 南天洞, and then we went to 三保洞. They are natural caves which had been developed as a tourist destination. Again, it’s photo taking time~

After that, we went to Kellie’s castle. It was owned by William Kellies Smith and was intended to be the hub of social life for the area’s wealthy colonial planters and administrators. However it was never to be completed. Work halted with the sudden demise of William Kellie Smith in Dec 1926.We went around the castle and took a lot of artistic photos, haha.. YF even brought her tripod along~ hehe, the photo shooting session at Kellie’s castle took quite some time...but the photos were very very nice!!! The scenery there and the building style is a good spot for photo shooting. =P

Had our lunch at a coffee house and we went to Popular to kill our time before we had our dinner – 芽菜鸡…a “can’t-be-missed” dishes when you come to Ipoh. The remaining of the time was spent on the making of 记“袆”犹“心”and chatting…wah…really had a long long overnight chat until the next day morning ~~~~~~~

Had a simple breakfast at “up to you” coffee shop （随便你茶餐室）…a funny name, rite? YF said there’s still more shop that had similar name as this in Ipoh. Later on, we made our way to Sri Maju headquarters to meet YS there. Passed her the 记忆（祎）犹新（心）, glad to see the happy expression at YS’s face…a simple yet memorable birthday gift…Chat for a while and we got to bid YF and YS goodbye…board on the bus and off we go…going back to Larkin ~~

Sleep all the way back to Larkin on the bus…Before board on the bus at Sri Maju headquarters, had a headache and felt 不舒服, maybe due to insufficient of sleep, luckily didn’t have car-sick. It becomes so much better after a nap in the bus…

*Due to tiredness and maybe a sudden hormone imbalance(lol~~), I appeared to be a bit 闷闷的 and quiet during the trip some of the times...不好意思ya~ hope you guys won’t take it in heart, k? =P

Specially thanks to YF and YS to be our tour guides and your accompaniment for these days... Had a great time with great friends! =)

Thought of blogging on my Ipoh trip, but don't have any 灵感 now...lol~~ so have to be patient la..wait till I have the 灵感 to narrate on it..And I'm waiting for the photos too..hehe~ Took quite a number of photos during this trip, esp when we were at Kellie's castle..The scenery is so suitable for photo taking and it is nice!

Today is Father's day..Hmm.. my family don't really celebrate the occasion..since it is Sunday and mum don't need to work, maybe will just cook something special and have it together...

R.Yin's birthday also falls on today..Happy birthday to R.Yin!!!All the best and take care~~

Everyday wakes up and repeats the same things from morning until night...
Surfing net, watching DVD or TV, reading story book, doing a slide show to relate my 3-year Uni life...nothing much...

Haha, been wondering when will I found my first job~~ There's some other things been hovering in my mind...Maybe I start to think too much again... =P

Plan to go SG tml to take some things back, however feels so reluctant to go ~~ lol~ 矛盾，isn't it??

Taking night bus to Ipoh this coming Sunday..Looking forward it~ Sure it can add some sparks to my recent boring life... lol~~~

一直以来，心中就一直盼望着有一天能到世界各地去旅行。。
想多学些新事物，想通过旅行，认识不同国家，不同的人、事、物，不同的文化背景。。
希望能多增广见闻。。想亲身体验在另一个国家生活的情形~
尤其想感觉走在不冷不热，人烟不多，微风徐徐吹着的街道上时的享受。。
虽然这愿望还没实现，但有一天一定会实现的，这是我对自己许下的承诺~
想想也许应该从自己的国家开始吧。。马来西亚--一个我从小长大的地方，但是所到过的地方却屈指可数。。有很多个州属对我来说都很陌生，也没真的体验过那里的风土民情~~有机会的话，一定要去explore一下~~

喜欢拍照。。想拍出真正好看的照片，抓住永恒的回忆。。

最近爱上photoshop，哈哈~

这几天在家无聊，就‘做’了几张照片。。




其实photoshop还有很多很多不同的功能，而我会的只是冰山里小小的一角，还有待慢慢地发掘。。Thanks ZJ 偶尔‘传授’的photoshop skills，还有从他那里‘偷师’的照片arrange方法~~ =P

我现在能做什么？
呆在家里一整天，好闷啊！！！
不是读故事书，就是上网~唉，上网也不知道要做什么，而且这几天的connection很不稳定。。会一直disconnect~~online好过干脆offline。。=P

最近天气很热，要多喝水~~

Yesterday evening, we successfully ‘lured’ ZJ out for a dinner. Together with JY and BY, we gave him his birthday present--"Phantasie". Hah, a belated birthday present due to the reason that we three were in the middle of final exam during his actual birthday and had insufficient time to make this ‘exquisite’ present.

Had been making this birthday present ever since I’m back from Redang trip and now finished, suddenly feeling ‘empty’ now, lol~ Actually I’m now not really had nothing to do, I have 2 story books to read – "Deception Point" by Dan Brown and "Contest" by Matthew Reilly. Haha, but just the inner feelings…=P

In the process of job searching, finally graduated from NUS~ No more lectures, tutorials, assignments and exams. Hah, but somehow will miss the time when we all meet for lunch or dinner and the time when we ‘camp’ in the library…

Hope I can find a suitable job as soon as possible. But it’s a bit hard for me as I’m now don’t have any job on mind and am just like “finding a needle in the haystack”.(Hah, am I correct in using this proverb to describe my situation now uh? ) There are too many choices at the online job portal. Thus it’s hard to decide which one to look for and to apply if one does not have any job on mind. So sometimes I will just close the window when I find until frustrated, lol~ Anyway, the job searching process will still going on until I found a job. Haha, I’m saying 废话~~ =P

Well, despite the ‘uncertain’ job searching process, I’m looking forward the next trip with my friends! Hehe =)

快乐的时间总是那么的短暂。之前还在说：“好向往去Redang的时候，好期待哦！” 一眨眼，在热浪岛上的三天两夜就这样过了。。

经过了近十个小时的车程，大伙儿来到了Kuala Terengganu的巴士车站。“啊~~终于到了! ” 由于时间还早，我们被安排在Resthouse休息。坐了一整夜的车，这时候大家的肚子都饿了。本想在车站附近买东西吃，但是档口都关着。结果呢，大家的早餐竟然是在7-11买的杯面~~
在我还没来得及把杯面吃完前，载我们到Merang Jetty的巴士来了。匆匆忙忙地，我拿着行李还有杯面上了巴士，还好在巴士还没开前，我把杯面吃完了。。
终于，巴士开车啦！离热浪岛越来越近咯！在未到码头前，巴士把我们载到了一个不像机场的机场。“咦？为什么来机场，不是去码头吗？” 哈哈，原来是要来接机。当然，我们也把握机会四处走走啦。

来到了码头，上了船。“热浪岛，我来啦！”这一路上的船程好像在坐过山车，哈哈，惊险刺激！不知道过了多久，眼前出现了一片白色的沙滩，衬着蓝色的海水。。啊~~~期待已久的热浪岛终于到了！！！
Check in放了行李后，吃了午餐，就是第一次的浮潜活动。接着就是自由活动还有茶点时间。晚餐后，大伙儿就沿着沙滩散步。。在沙滩上走还真不容易哦！我也不知道要怎样形容，我想应该要真正体会一番才能了解吧。=p 走到了Redang bay resort。。正好是Dancing时间，犹豫了一些时间，到底要不要进去跳舞。。结果呢，还是跑了进去。。跳舞是累的咯！跳没多久，我就出了一身汗，没有力气跳了。。佩服JY，为什么可以跳那么久。。

跟着，大家走到了Summer Point food court吃夜宵。但只有JY，MK，ZJ吃东西，而YF、YS还有我只是点了饮料。我们三人还share了一瓶Long Island。意犹未尽的我们，吃完夜宵后，回到我们的resort继续玩游戏。。我想是之前的Long Island酒精成分作祟吧，结果我越玩越high，感觉上好像有点没了形象。。- -"~~之后呢，大家都累了，就回房间睡觉啦！就这样，结束了在热浪岛的第一天~

Went to Changi Airport to see Travis off this afternoon. He went back to Hong Kong after one-year student exchange programme in NUS.
Glad to know him and the days during the 1st and 2nd KT visit were definitely memorable and happy! A very nice de-stress activity during exam period, lol~~

Back to prepare for the last paper, jia you!! Less than 24 hr and I will be free~~

离考试不到一个小时的时间，把笔记读完了，不知道要做什么，所以就跑到这里来“打发”时间啦！
待会儿要考的将会是我的第四张卷子哦！！大家一定会想：“哇。。那岂不是很快就考完试咯？”哈，其实不然。。我是很快就考完五张卷子里的四张，但是最后一张却是在考试时段的最后一天考。。所以呢，或许很多人都考完试了，而我还必须为最后一张卷子作准备。。不过没关系啦，就当作我是一边放假、一边准备考试啦！想想有那么多天准备，应该不会准备到倍感压力吧~也许觉得无聊的可能性会多一点，LOL!
好啦，时间差不多了，要上考场咯！=）

终于，考试开始。

大学生涯最后一个学期的最后一个读书天，我竟然等巴士等了整整45分钟。。o.O
下着雨的早上，我手撑着伞走到楼下的巴士车站，远远地看见了一辆“198”巴士，心里还暗喜道：“运气不错，巴士那么快就到了。”但当巴士驶近车站时，才发现。。“哎呀，挤满了人，上不了巴士。@.@”心想：“没关系，还有时间，可以等下一辆。。”结果，“198”是一辆一辆跟着来了，但是都挤满了人，就像挤沙丁鱼一样，根本就上不了巴士。。就这样我眼睁睁地看着6辆载满了人的“198”从我面前驶过，而上不了车。。好不容易，等到了第七辆“198”，终于上了巴士，看看表已经8点了。。结果，辅导课迟到了半个小时~~天啊，第一次碰到等巴士可以等到连续六辆经过都上不去的~~
好啦，故事分享完毕，哈！所以呢，以后在早上繁忙时间等巴士要提早出门哦！LOL~

随着study week的开始，还有final exam 的来临，我的大学生涯即将画上休止符。。心情是复杂的，兴奋、忐忑、不舍，五味杂陈。。。有人说，做学生是最幸福的。。生活单纯，就只是围绕在课业上而已；工作了又会有很多东西要考虑，业绩啦、表现啦、同事间的人事关系啦。。哈哈，现在说这些好像有点言之过早的感觉。。我想要等到真正进入“社会大学”后才能有另一番的体会。。

所以，现在的我要卯足全力准备在NUS的最后一个学期的最后一个考试。。哈哈~我想这个学期将会是我在NUS最难忘的学期吧！有太多太多的事，最重要是“第一次让我觉得我像NUS的学生”。。LOL~~


与朋友们在一起的时光是享受的~~加油！

现在是凌晨时分，趁着等头发干的当儿，就来这里‘溜达溜达’一下。。
从日期上看，我似乎忽略了这个部落格，有一个月没更新了。。- -"
啊。。好不容易终于有些时间让我喘喘气了。。
从这个学期一开始，日子就变得比前几个学期忙，尤其是星期二和星期四。。同时这个学期搭shuttle bus的次数也变多了。。哈哈~一星期三天都需要乘搭shuttle bus，穿梭于arts faculty 与 science faculty之间~~
至于功课呢，嗯。。在学期小休之前的那个星期，除了需要考两个core module的考试外，生活尚且可用悠闲来形容，学期小休时还能到云顶去玩呢！但是，在学期小休后，进入这学期后半段时，情况变得与之前完全的不同。。
汉语语法学期作业、PR project和take-home quiz、泰文书写测验、ST3232第二次考试与topic presentation一样一样接踵而来。。同时还要为找工作而烦。。我的天啊！想到有这么多东西等着我，就让我感到压力~~心情有好几次也变得郁闷起来。。唉~~
还好，当东西一样一样地完成后，整个人也变得轻松一点。。哈哈，虽然说还是有东西没做完啦~~现在在我的清单里，需要我去完成的事有：
1. 汉语语法学期作业（接近两千页的相声资料 - -" )
2. 泰文第二次书写测验和会话测试
3. ST3232 topic presentation
看来是要忙到学期的最后一个星期了。。
不过呢，在那之前，先让自己休休息，喘喘气吧！否则就快被‘石头’压死了~~
考完ST3232的测验后，就做了这样一个决定，要好好‘放纵’一下自己。。
而今天我真的是放了自己一天的假~~
下午一点上完课后，与佩锦吃了午餐，就开始完成PR project我该做的部分。。做完后，终于把‘悬而未决’的求职问题解决了~~申请表格一直都在‘draft’的状态，今天终于按了‘submit’。。嗯，接下来就只能等，看看有没有下文啦~
想想下星期应该会有时间上网或从报纸上开始‘搜寻’其他的工作机会，然后send出resume啦！不过呢，想到要面试，心里还是怕怕的，而且还有些担心。。
在PGP享用了‘丰富’的晚餐，就到祎心的房间聊天。。哇！！！这一聊可不得了。。差一点就要错过回家的最后一趟巴士了。。还好最后还是赶上了~~:P
好啦，头发干得差不多了，现在时间也不早了。。该睡觉了~~
p/s 希望我这个blog entry不会像‘流水账’。。哈！

好久没来这里“涂鸦”。。
不知不觉，进入了二月。。要过新年咯！！还蛮期待的。。可以暂时“逃避”一下这个学期“忙碌”的生活。。
刚过了这学期的第三周。
已经好久没有这样的感觉了。。一星期有三天需要赶课。。虽然累，但应该还算应付得来吧。。现在才刚开始进入“真正”的大学生活。。哈哈，之后的几个月还不知道会不会很忙。。谁知道过年后可能会有一大堆的测验还有Project等着我呢！！o.O
下星期就是农历新年了。。期待回家与家人团聚，见见老朋友。。大家说说笑笑，一家一家地去拜年，还有我们的reunion dinner。。嘿，期待。。=）
